How drafts work
Where posts come from, how your voice is used, and why nothing posts without you.
Where posts come from
- Your work: commits, pull requests, releases and streaks from GitHub.
- Your numbers: revenue milestones from Stripe, Polar or RevenueCat, and traffic from PostHog.
- Your words: the weekly check-in, where four quick questions become a week of posts.
- Ideas: stories from your product, numbers and repo, for weeks you didn't ship much.
- Your AI tool: say "post about what we just shipped" in Claude Code or Cursor (MCP).
Your voice
Every draft uses your tone, length, banned phrases and past posts from Voice & tone, plus your product description so it makes sense to someone who has never heard of your product. Loudcode only states facts it can see; it never invents numbers, users or quotes.
Review before anything posts
Drafts wait for you. You can edit them, ask for another version, switch between a single post, a thread or a long post, or skip them. Only what you post or queue goes to X.
Images
When a post is about something people can see, like a new page or a redesign, Loudcode adds a screenshot of that page on your live site. For questions, lessons and numbers it leaves the post as plain text, since those get more replies that way. You can always add, change or remove the image.
Limits
Each plan includes a number of drafts and posts to X per month. They reset on the 1st. See Plans and limits.
