Troubleshooting

Fix invalid keys, missing servers and limits.

The tool says my key is invalid

The key was mistyped, or it was revoked. Create a new one in Account settings and update your tool's config. Make sure the header reads Authorization: Bearer lc_... with a space after Bearer.

Loudcode doesn't show up in my tool

  • Restart the tool after editing its config file.
  • Check the JSON is valid (no trailing commas).
  • In Claude Code, run claude mcp list to see whether it's connected.

"You've used this month's drafts"

Drafts from your AI count toward your plan like any other. They reset on the 1st, or upgrade in Account settings. See Plans and limits.

"Too many requests"

Each key can make about 60 calls a minute. Wait a minute and try again.

The draft doesn't sound like me

Give your AI a specific summary: what changed, for whom, and why it matters. Then tune Voice & tone in Loudcode, and add a few of your past posts there.
